Produced in Kurume by Yasaku Otsubo (大坪彌作) in 1914. The faded colour patterns are more pronounced when the plant receives less fertilizer. For this reason, 'Yata-no-Kagami' bonsai trees are not fertilized before they flower and are put on display.
