‘Kogetsu’

This variety with white flowers with red variegation is a good representation for the entire class of white-with-red satsuki. Has a strong tendency for red flowers with white centres (sokojiro). With variable flowers larger in size than for example 'Kozan', this variety can both be used for traditional bonsai or flower display azaleas. Though true flower display varieties often can make more of an impression thanks to larger flowers, 'Kogetsu' has a classic elegant look, in part thanks to it's rounded petals.
