This variety is very representative of the 'Kozan' group, but the flowers are slightly larger, and 'Aozora' has a nice range of variable violet colour combinations, with white centers being common. Its leaves are smaller than 'Kozan', making it very suitable for smaller bonsai. It has a show growing, compact growth habit typical of R.indicum hybrids.
